The Opportunity

The CSA internship program offers hands-on experience working in a professional environment where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the peak body for chief of staff.

Summary

Your internship with the CSA will enable you to build vital skills to enhance your employability and will give you exposure to the range of requirements of the chief of staff role.

The Chief of Staff Association places a high value on your ability to express ideas verbally and in writing. You should display an ability to think strategically and the capacity to express ideas clearly.

Candidates must be self-starters and demonstrate ownership of their work. Excellent interpersonal skills and time management are also a must.

You will have a background or demonstrable experience in public affairs, diplomacy or international relations. A second (or further) language will be highly regarded, as will solid academic performance.

A background check is mandatory, and you may be required to affirm your ability to work in the U.S. legally without the need to obtain a visa and have secure housing accommodations.
