Marketing Manager

The Chief of Staff Association (CSA) is seeking a talented and forward-thinking Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts. In this key role, you will be the driving force behind our brand’s development, focusing particularly on LinkedIn for both organic and paid social media strategies.

The Chief of Staff Association is the largest membership organisation for chiefs of staff globally, with members occupying positions of influence in over 70 countries. Our members are drawn from a variety of different sectors from some of the most prominent businesses and organisations. These include: Google, TED, McLaren and Red Bull to name just a few. 

Your Responsibilities

Your day to day will look like this:

Social Media Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and lead generation, with a strong emphasis on LinkedIn as a primary platform.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Plan, implement, and optimise paid social media campaigns across platforms, especially LinkedIn, aligning with budget and objectives.
  • Monitor ad performance, analyse data, and adjust strategies to maximise ROI and achieve campaign goals.
  • Develop a content calendar and oversee the creation of engaging organic content that aligns with brand messaging and values.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to design captivating ad creatives that resonate with target audiences.

Lead Capture and Funnel Strategy:

  • Design and implement effective lead capture strategies, focusing on the top of the funnel down to applications for membership.
  • Analyse lead generation metrics and optimise processes to ensure a steady flow of high-quality leads.

Digital Marketing:

  • Manage digital marketing efforts including email campaigns, SEO, SEM, and content marketing.
  • Analyse web traffic and user behaviour to optimise conversion rates and user experience.
  • Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing and effective digital assets.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using data to drive decisions and measure success.

Graphic Design:

  • Create engaging creatives for our paid advertising campaigns.
  • Support our cross-functional teams with content creation, including brochures, decks, and documents.
  • Ensure all marketing materials are visually compelling and align with brand guidelines.

Brand Guardianship

  • Become the CSA brand guardian, ensuring the team is aware of all brand rules and visual guidelines to maintain a consistent CSA voice in all communications.

Qualifications

We like to hire on ability, attitude and aptitude with a big emphasis on potential rather than only past experience. Education and qualifications are important, but we really want someone who buys into our mission and wants to learn and grow as we scale The CSA together. 

Experience and Expertise:

  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager, Social Media Manager, or in a similar role, with a strong focus on LinkedIn marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or able to demonstrate experience and skill in a relevant marketing position.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on social media and digital marketing.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing paid social media campaigns, particularly on LinkedIn, with a strong understanding of ad targeting and optimisation.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and take ownership as the sole marketing lead in a dynamic startup environment.
