Learning and Development Manager

Do you have a passion for education and professional development, and have strong project management skills? The Chief of Staff Association is seeking an Education Programme Manager to lead the development and delivery of our online education programme, mentorship programme, and Executive Education Courses with the University of Oxford and other leading institutions.

The Chief of Staff Association is the global peak professional body for chiefs of staff in government, large corporations, leading not-for-profits and the military. We are enhancing the influence and effectiveness of chiefs of staff, and helping them connect to solve the world’s complex problems.

As Education Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Curating and overseeing the CSA’s online education programmes for chiefs of staff, including webinars, discussion groups and assessments, hosted on our Learning Management System
  • Deliver the online curriculums for the Core Competency and Mindful Leadership programmes, maintaining relationships with Subject Matter Experts and reviewing intermittently for programme improvement.
  • Create supporting materials for the curriculum, including assessment materials, pre-reading and prospectus’.
  • Coordinating the mentorship programme for alongside the Director of Mentorship, and scaling the programme as our community grows
  • Leading the planning and delivery of our in-person Executive Education Courses, including scheduling, logistics, and course planning
  • Identifying and implementing new initiatives to enhance the educational offering of the CSA

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong experience in curriculum development, particularly for professional and corporate development
  • Strong project management skills; ability to develop work plans, maintain project materials, and meet targets with a high degree of independence
  • Confidence providing technical assistance and trainings to delivery partners and staff
  • A passion for community building and fostering relationships
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, including familiarisation with Google suite

If successful, the successful applicant will:

  • Be on an initial base salary of £42000
  • Have the opportunity to travel around the UK and the United States
  • Receive a stipend for professional development as part of their personal development plan
