‘Writing an article with the CSA publishing team was a really positive experience. The structured research and writing process helped me step back, organise my thinking, and sharpen my perspective on the topic. Working with the editors was great; they challenged ideas, gave thoughtful feedback, and helped elevate the message. Overall, it was not only insightful but also a genuinely enjoyable and collaborative experience.’

‘Writing for the CSA Journal forced a kind of rigour I wouldn't have imposed on myself. What surprised me was the quality and detail of the feedback; real time and effort had gone into understanding the piece, not just marking it up for house style. Henry's editorial process pushed me to be more decisive, to find the proof points my arguments actually needed, and to clarify in my own mind the core thesis and the intellectual basis I was arguing from. My writing is markedly better for it, and if you're sitting on an idea you think might not be ready, that's probably exactly the right moment to submit it.’

‘Writing for CSA Journal was more clarifying than I expected. I came in thinking I knew my argument, but it was only in the writing; and in defending each turn against the editor's questions; that a half-formed instinct became a thesis I could stand behind. The value wasn't the published piece; it was being pushed to think harder. Any member still sitting on an idea should put it through this process.’
