Mr Laban Cliff

Laban-Cliff Onserio is the Chief of Staff for the Group CEO at Standard Media Group in Kenya. He previously worked at Kenya’s Office of the President in the President’s Delivery Unit, a government project execution arm supported by the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change. He worked at General Electric Africa as a management trainee to help the conglomerate establish Nairobi as its African headquarters. Laban Cliff is also a news anchor on KTN News and has interviewed Africa’s business and government leaders on CNBC Africa and Nation Media Group, East Africa’s Largest integrated media house. In 2012, He was named Africa’s Best New Comer in business journalism at the Diageo Africa Awards held in London.

Andrew Likaka is a Medical Doctor and Global Health Specialist with over seventeen years of experience in managing health systems, hospital administration, quality management and digital health services in Malawi. He is an advisor to several international health agencies on topics including  health systems, quality of care and digital health. Andrew has spearheaded several diplomatic collaborations with various governments and has advised high-profile government officials, including Presidents in Malawi. Andrew has several publications in reputable academic and peer-reviewed journals. He is a recipient of the Australian Leadership Award (ALA).

Maurizio Malone

Maurizio supports the CEO in building solid processes and a common culture across 15 countries spread across 5 continents to align a team of over 800 professionals globally. Previously, Maurizio was a senior PR advisor and VP of SEC and Partners, a Rome based subsidiary of  SEC Newgate SpA. He started his career working for an independent PR firm in sustainability and environmental communications for an independent PR firm based in Italy and later as part of WPP Group. He is part of the EMEA pool of experts on crisis management for Hill & Knowlton and has taught crisis management at Luiss Business School and Link Campus University in Rome. Maurizio holds a cum laude Master’s degree in Journalism and Communications and Bachelor’s degree in Politics and Economics.

As Business Manager to the CEO at Laudes Foundation, a private family philanthropy focusing on climate change and inequality, Chloe leads on topics related to governance and the management team, ensuring that the organisation remains nimble in its decision-making. Chloe works closely with a number of strategic partners to advance the role of philanthropy on issues related to climate and inequality. Chloe previously worked for C&A Foundation on circular fashion, was COO of Circle Economy, and worked on last-mile healthcare issues in the global south and with social entrepreneurs at Ashoka. She began her career working for DOD and DHHS contractors in Washington, DC. Chloe has a Master’s degree in International Science and Technology Policy from George Washington University. She moved to Amsterdam in 2011.

With 18+ years’ experience in the public and private sectors, Rodolfo is an expert in legal advice, negotiation, public policy, government relations and business. As a frontline negotiator, he’s negotiated the Trade Facilitation Agreement, expected to produce accrued global benefits of over US$1 trillion a year; the revised Government Procurement Agreement, with a market access coverage valued at US$100 billion p/ year; and the expansion of the Information Technology Agreement, with an estimated value of $1.3 trillion in added global trade p/ year. He’s the creator, producer, and host of The Rodolfo Rivas Project podcast, ranked amongst the top 10% worldwide with 100K+ downloads. He holds an LL.M. degree from Stanford Law School, Universitat d’Alacant, a law degree from Universidad Panamericana, and an MBA from the University of London.

He supported former Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, in the Mayor’s office flagship Equality, Diversity and Inclusion project before moving into operations. Specialising in operations, he took his first placement as Chief of Staff for a prominent member of a Royal Family before embarking on his journey to help start-ups in Sweden. Shaan is a career Chief of Staff and is involved in multiple projects across Sweden and abroad. A proud business consultant and advocate for the Chief of Staff role within the private sector, Shaan has helped build organisation structures, support board development, and lead fundraising initiatives.

He is regularly invited to share his experience at universitie; most recently at AIM (Academie International de Management) in Paris and Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

He was previously deputy chief of staff to a local government leader in London.

Santiago has a Master’s degree in Energy from the Stanford School of Energy, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB). He now resides in Mexico City, Mexico.

Joseph Sciortino is the Chief of Staff for FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) Region II. He leads the Region’s executive team to advance FEMA’s mission of helping people before, during and after disasters. Prior to FEMA, Joe served as the Chief of Staff at the New York State Governor’s Office of Storm Recovery, assisting with leading the implementation of the State Recovery programs for its Post-Sandy Recovery.  Joe was also the Chief of Staff to Staten Island Borough President. Lastly, at Borough Hall, he worked on the City & State’s Hurricane Sandy response and recovery team, collaborating with various U.S. Federal agencies. Before Government Service Joe worked at St. John’s University in The School of Education’s Undergraduate Office and as an Adjunct Professor, teaching the Adolescent Learning & Development undergraduate class. Joe is a proud St. John alumnus, holding a BA in Adolescent Education (7th–12th) and Italian Language & Literature, and a Master’s degree in Global Development & Social Justice.

Erin Bricker is the Director, Strategic Communications, Government and Public Relations (Chief of Staff) at Santa Rosa Junior College, which serves over 20,000 students in Sonoma County, CA. In this role, Erin serves as the Public Information Officer and a member of the president’s cabinet, advising leadership on institutional decisions, guiding strategic communications, leading policy development and implementation, guiding stakeholder management, managing legislative advocacy and leading the college’s enrolment marketing efforts. Prior to her role at SRJC, Erin was the COO of a construction materials company and before that managed an international freediving company. She is a competitive freediver, held US six national records, coached numerous athletes to national and world records and trained over 1,000 students in the sport. With 11 years of Government service and tours in The White House Situation Room and National Counterterrorism Center, he has provided executive support to several Cabinet-level officials. Mr. Davis is an Enterprise-minded national security specialist with a strong focus on interagency collaboration, strategic policy formulation, resource allocation, and risk calculation. He and his wife own and operate MAI Properties LLC, a real estate investment company focused on multifamily properties. Drew previously managed a foreign affairs policy institute, a large resort and served as a police officer. He received his BA in politics and government, world religions, and national security studies from Ripon College; his Master’s degree in international affairs, with concentrations in intelligence and national security law from Texas A&M.  He’s a proud graduate of the Chief of Staff Executive Education Program at Oxford. Drew has two kids and enjoys skiing, golfing, martial arts, and traveling with his family.
