The Chief of Staff Association is a private organization that connects the gatekeepers of the world’s leaders. Our members are chiefs of staff across governments, militaries, royal households, corporations and family offices. We convene discreet sidebar events during global multilateral meetings, advancing ‘track two’ diplomacy, particularly between the public and private sectors. Through our headquarters in New York, members can activate the entire global CSA network to extend their capabilities.
We're looking for a Chief of Staff reporting to our chief executive, the Secretary. You will support cross-divisional projects and manage ongoing projects. This involves connecting with Embassies, Consulates, major events, and government bodies to develop a program of events for the CSA. It also involves developing strategic briefings for the Secretary. This is a unique role, to be chief of staff in the world’s peak body for chiefs of staff.
In addition, you are expected to advise the Secretary on political, foreign policy and strategic matters. This is an amazing opportunity for someone with the ability to work collaboratively and juggle many interesting tasks to work at the heart of the organization on important projects and with lots of exposure to global senior leadership. The job best suits someone who is a true person of the world. You may be a graduate in political science and are keen to develop the highest level relationships in government, diplomacy and the private sector, or simply a curious and dynamic individual driven to discover the world. Experience in high growth organizations is plus, as is experience in government, military or diplomacy.
The role will initially be based in New York, with the opportunity to transfer to other major world cities to contribute to the CSA’s global expansion.
